Hey there! I'm Dr. Lindsay Dugas, and along with my husband, Troy, we're the duo behind Acadiana Optics, a fresh vision clinic right here in Broussard, Louisiana. My journey in eye care started way back as a receptionist, learning the ropes and soaking up knowledge from top-notch optometrists in South Louisiana. Now, I'm thrilled to be kicking off Acadiana Optics, bringing a whole new vibe to eye care in our hometown.
After graduating from Comeaux High School in 2003, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2008 and then the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2013, I've dived into everything eye-related—specialized contacts, pediatric check-ups, you name it! But at Acadiana Optics, we're not just about 20/20 vision. Our mission is to teach folks how to care for their eyes for life. That's why our motto is simple: "Healthy vision goes beyond 20/20."
Beyond the clinic, you'll catch me hanging out with my husband, our little one, and our furry buddy. I'm all about interior design, crafts, and hosting epic get-togethers at our place. Plus, our Bayou Church crew keeps us grounded and connected. I'm passionate about sharing my expertise, from volunteering globally to local initiatives, always aiming to make eye care not just about seeing clearly but about seeing life to the fullest.
